Also, bats are already ingame, and you don't see mojang making corrupt pigs or evil chickens (although the magma cube was also pointless) Perhaps an idea for a hostile flyer could be a Harpy. Once again pointless because it offers no new gameplay experience, and it would seem very out of theme with a happy green forest.Ī new gameplay element which is hostile flyers would be nice, but dropping nothing but XP seems useless. With no NEW use, it seems pointless, and it would be annoying to texture because of the proportions. When killed, they have a chance to drop random potions or blue and purple mushrooms. Their homes are also made from blue and purple giant glowing mushrooms. Usually quite peaceful but will attack when provoked, they enjoy trading with players and usually have blue and purple mushroom farms. Tall ones are the purple while the small ones are blue, both have green glowing eyes. Shroomen (Blue & Purple) AKA Glowmen: These shroomen are just like their over world brothers except are only found in the deep underground usually in Mushroom Caves. When killed they drop red mushrooms, Potion of Poison, or Mushroom soup. They are hostile to players and Brown Shroomen and have a lot of health. Their homes are usually made of giant red mushrooms. They also have villages that can spawn on mushroom biomes or in swamps. When they attack they cause a bit of knockback. Shroomen (Red): Unlike the brown Shroomen, they are as big as Iron Golems and are as slow moving. When killed they only drop brown mushrooms. A player can trade with them if they are in good vavor. Their villages usually are made under large mushrooms. Their heads look like the tops of mushrooms, and though small they can cause a person to be poisoned when they attack, but only when provoked. Shroomen (Brown): Living mushroom men, they only stand as tall as pigs and sheep and have villages on Mushroom Biomes made from large brown mushrooms. Kings have a chance to drop a Diamond Sword, Gold Brick, Diamonds, or an Imp Crown *New Helmet item* Formans drop Iron Swords or Gold Nuggets. When Miners are killed they can drop their pickaxe as well as some iron. They come in three forms, Miners have Iron Pickaxes and don't do much damage, Formans have Iron Swords and Iron Helmets which give them a little more armor then the Miner and stronger attack, lastly are Kings who are very rare and have gold helmets and diamond swords. Gloom Imp: A small purple humanoid creature that spends most their time in caves building mines in search of their favorite ore, GOLD. You can catch them inside bottles to make little light bottles to set on top of blocks for light and when killed they have a chance to drop Blaze Rods. Instead it glows like glowstone and loves to eat mushrooms and glowstone. Neather Worm: Much like the snail in the Over World, except found in the Neather and it doesn't leave behind smile and doesn't have a shell. When attacking, they can cause a Bleeding Debuff that slows down health regeneration. Mostly spawning in caves, they also make their homes inside Gloom Trees. Gloom Bats: Small purple bats that don't do much damage alone, but can be a problem in groups. When killed, they do not drop XP but they do drop all their Gloom Wood which can be used like regular wood and sometimes a Gloom Root block which is their face/head. They can't move and they can't attack, but they are the homes of Gloom Bats, which constantly spawns them so long as a player is 10 blocks away from them. Gloom Trees: These black leafless trees are found in the forests and look like a normal tree except for the horrible even face and red glowing eyes. When killed they have a small chance of dropping slime balls. They have a habbit of eatting the leaf blocks off of trees. It slowly moves along the ground, walls, and ceilings leaving behind a slime trail which when walked on slows down anyone's movement. Snail: A small slimey slug with a hard shell. Since we are getting a few new ones for the next Halloween Updated, it got me thinking of a few others that would fill out the world.
